Thailand's Export Growth Eases In Apr

28 MAY 2022 (NAM News Network) BANGKOK, May 27 (NNN-TNA) - Thailand's exports, a key driver of the country's economic growth, climbed 9.9 percent year on year, in Apr, data showed yesterday.

The growth, below market expectation of 14.6 percent, moderated from a rise of 19.5 percent, registered in March, according to data released by the country's Ministry of Commerce.

The country's exports have kept expanding for the 14th consecutive month, but there has been pressure from the Russia-Ukraine conflict, according to the ministry.

The ministry expected the country's exports to expand further in 2022 as agricultural and food product exports...
