DFA-OUMWA DELEGATION MEETS FILIPINO COMMUNITY AND ASSISTS 18 DISTRESSED FILIPINOS IN RETURNING HOME

23 December 2022 (Republic of Philippines Department Of Foreign Affairs) MANAMA 15 December 2022 - A delegation from the Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affairs (OUMWA) of the DFA arrived in Bahrain on 12 December 2022 as part of its ATN Mission to the Middle East, including the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The delegation was headed by Senior Special Assistant Roy B. Ecraela. The delegation met with representatives from the Filipino Community on 13 December 2022. The event, entitled, 'Kumustahan sa Pasuguan', aimed to update the representatives from the Filipino Community on the services provided by DFA-OUMWA and the Embassy to Overseas Filipinos and the creation of the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) under the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).
